Sergey Georgiev, CTO.
In his role as Technical director Sergey aims at minimizing the technical risk for the projects, having them released in a well planned and safe way, with a view on possible further developments.
Sergey has been in video games since his school years when he was skipping classes, going to the arcade instead. Never lost this passion.
After having graduated from the university he worked as a Java developer and Lead Java developer. Then he saw a job opening for a local video games company. The interview was for a programmer but he got an offer for a sysadmin instead. He didn't hesitate to go for it. He took the job and gradually moved to programming tasks.
He has been with Snapshot Games since 2014, being one of the very first few people in the team. He’s in charge of the technical architecture of the projects, and mentor & coach a team of talented programmers, passionate about video games. He believes that having strong general programming skills and passion for video games is key to being successful.
